About this role:
We are seeking to fulfil a dual role of Assistant Coach and Pool Deck Supervisor to join our team to lead, develop and advance our coaching and swim programs. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, an excellent communicator with both children, adults and colleagues, and have well developed coaching skills with previous coaching experience. As Assistant Coach your duties will include working closely with our Head Coach to develop training plans and programs for our Squad swimmers. Attendance at Carnivals, meets and Race Nights as directed by the Head Coach with an understanding and commitment to the ethos and activities of the Dolphins Swim Club is essential.
To enable success in the role of Pool Deck Supervisor you will have a calm leadership style and flourish with diversity whilst supervising the swim school programs. You are someone who delivers attentive leadership, proficient supervision, and is a mentor to your team. Your priority will be to ensure your customer service delivers outstanding outcomes for members. You are proactive in observing potential risks and can provide a positive outcome responding to customers and staff needs and or concerns.

The role includes:
- Involvement and supervising of the pool deck, swim programs and coaching squads
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Liaise with members, parents, swimmers, affiliated groups and organisations using the centre.
- Carry out first aid procedures as required.
- Be familiar with WHS practices

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar coaching/supervisory role
- Minimum Development Coaching Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s License
- Swim Teaching qualifications
- Lifeguard Qualifications
