The Sharks Have Heart Digital Communications Intern is responsible for supporting the Sharks Have Heart Coordinator with reporting and producing digital content covering all Sharks Have Heart initiatives and programs.
The Digital Communications Intern will be required to attend community events, Sharks home games (when required) as well as Sharks community programs and initiatives.
While performing these tasks the individual must continue to be sensitive to the regime required of the professional footballer.
Assist with the production and publication of video content for the website and other digital media channels including script writing, interviewing, filming and editing for video projects.
Produce unique content for the website.
Produce and publish written content for community events and initiatives.
Assist with establishing and managing the Sharks Have Heart social media accounts.
Conduct interviews with players, community stakeholders and any other relevant persons in producing digital content.
The Sharks Have Heart Digital Communications Intern should be outgoing, responsible and articulate.
Enjoy working in a team environment.
Knowledge in digital communications/journalism.
Knowledge in social media management.
Experience in writing.
Community minded and have an understanding of non-profit, civic and community groups.
You will be required to work outside normal business hours to attend community events, game days or to represent the Football Club.
Access to own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
